Note: This warranty is for CompuDirect-manufactured computers only. For all other items, please refer to that manufacturer's warranty.
This warranty does NOT cover any computer or computer-related item not manufactured by us in our Myrtle Beach, S.C. facility.
All CompuDirect-manufactured new computers come with a limited parts and labor warranty from 90 days to 1-year. See Store and your invoice for details of the warranty length. This covers all parts of the computer that have a manufacturing defect for the warranty period, including the labor to replace those parts. Certain restrictions and exclusions apply (see below). This is a carry-in warranty. A local on-site warranty is available for an additional annual fee of $149.99 for standalone systems. Servers, workstations, and other network items can be extended by requesting a quote. (Service is limited to a 20-mile distance from our store, with a small fee for additional mileage.)
During the hardware warranty period, we will be glad to provide, at no additional cost, limited phone support for general questions about using the computer, using preinstalled programs, and using additional and/or specific hardware.
CompuDirect warrants that computers manufactured by CompuDirect are free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. The warranty period commences on the date of purchase. A customer's dated sales receipt is proof of the date of purchase. This warranty extends only to the original owner and is not transferable.
Additionally, during the first 90 days, you will have one free re-install of your operating system or other minor repair at no charge. We call this our "Oops" event.
